FAQ'S
Some of the most frequent queries:
may be very useful in addressing any doubts that may arise during your stay.
Is it easy to park near the hotel?
Although parking availability in the center of Ciutadella may vary depending on the time of day and the tourist season, there are convenient options near our hotel. In Plaza Es Born itself, there are regulated parking spaces during the day, but they become free at night.
Additionally, near our establishment, you will find several free municipal parking lots. The closest one is located in Pla de Sant Joan, and there are also two new parking lots available on Camí Sa Farola 17 and on Calle Ciutat de l'Alguer, just a 5-minute walk from our hotel.
We recommend accessing the center via Ronda Norte RC-1 and following the signs towards Port Vell. At the end of the route, next to the old port terminal, you will find two parking lots with more than 600 free spaces next to the port, and just a few meters from our hotel.
Given our central location, you might wonder if our rooms are quiet.
Being situated in the heart of Ciutadella, we understand the importance of providing our guests with peaceful accommodations. Despite our proximity to Plaza Es Born, access to our hotel is through Es Mirador Street, a tranquil pedestrian thoroughfare.
We've taken great care in renovating our building to ensure tranquility for our guests. All our rooms are equipped with soundproof windows and doors, guaranteeing a serene atmosphere even amidst the vibrant center of Ciutadella.
What is the difference between the Superior and Standard rooms?
While all our rooms are very comfortable, we primarily distinguish them by size and views of Plaza Es Born. Superior rooms offer direct views of the square, are more spacious, and feature large flat-screen TVs. On the other hand, Standard rooms overlook Es Mirador Street or the courtyard connecting our two buildings.
Does the hotel offer breakfast service?
To provide flexibility to our guests and avoid increasing prices, we have chosen not to include breakfast service at our hotel. Given our central location in Ciutadella, guests have the freedom to choose from a wide variety of establishments to enjoy a good breakfast. Among our recommendations are Bar Imperi, a renowned establishment in Ciutadella, and Cercle Artistic, located just 10 meters from our hotel and offering privileged views of the Ciutadella port.
Is there any recommended restaurant nearby?
In Ciutadella, the excellent gastronomy is a fundamental part of the local experience. Thanks to our privileged location next to the port, our guests have access to a variety of highly recommended restaurants. Among them, we highlight Café Balear, just five minutes away, as well as Restaurant S’Amarador and Restaurant Mon, which are also nearby.
In addition to these options, Ciutadella's gastronomic offer is extensive and varied. We recommend other establishments such as Smoix, Molí des Compte, Pizzeria Roma, and Aquarium. For those looking for a more informal experience, we suggest places like Tritón, La Vall, Ulisses, Citadella, Ses Voltes, and Moriarty.
With such an extensive variety of options, our guests can explore and enjoy the delicious local gastronomic offer during their stay.
Which is the best way to go from airport to the hotel? Is the a bus? How much would be a taxi?
To get from the airport to our hotel, you have a couple of options. Firstly, you can take the bus. You'll need to catch the bus that connects the airport to the Maó terminal, and from there, take either bus 01 or 14 to Ciutadella. Our hotel is just a few meters away from the bus stop in Ciutadella.
Alternatively, you can opt for a taxi. You'll find taxis readily available at the airport exit, and the cost is approximately 60 Euros.
We also recommend considering the option of renting a vehicle at the airport. When you take into account the cost of a round-trip taxi ride, renting a vehicle becomes a more economical option. Additionally, it provides you with greater freedom to explore the island at your own pace.
